Busy Taupo

Sounds Air's Pilatus PC12 ZK-PLS doing a charter from Christchurch 
and Sounds Air's Pilatus PC12 ZK-PLZ on it's scheduled flight from Wellington

    2. haha yes. they have already said that's it for now for new routes. A second aircraft will mean the aeroplane popping up in odd places on charter that's about it.

    Is it usual practice for lowering of landing gear in a large plane like that so early on in the flight..? Putaruru-I should was when they lowered them..?

    1. Without knowing what their SOP's are I'm going to say no it's not normal. Based on what the 2 larger aircraft I've flown experience, and common scene ie more drag more power increased fuel flow etc etc

  3. Defiantly a enjoyable experience with kiwi!!! Great costumer service. Rung me first thing in the morning to let me know that the plane would be delayed. Just a shame that they didn't arrive at 11 as it would have made a great photo shot with sounds air, Eagles 1900 and kiwi's saab on the tarmac
