Tracking up to Tonga

On track to Tonga this morning is Air Chathams' Convair 580 ZK-CIE. This comes after conflicting reporting about what is happening to Real Tonga's MA60, see http://3rdlevelnz.blogspot.co.nz/2014/06/real-tonga-scraps-ma60.html and http://3rdlevelnz.blogspot.co.nz/2014/06/jetstreams-are-not-going-to-replace-ma.html

Also commencing its journey to Tonga is Jetstream VH-OTF which is expected to fly from Brisbane to Noumea today.

This time last year VH-OTF was operating for Aeropelican... Photo taken on 2 June 2013

Going back to Air Chathams, their Metroliner ZK-CIC has been stretching its legs a couple of times this month... On the 6th of June it operated Auckland-Chathams-Napier-Auckland bringing fish back to New Zealand and yesterday it operated Napier-Chathams-Auckland having flown Auckland-Napier the day before.
