25 Years Ago - April 1988 - Tourist Flyers


Mount Cook Airline's Cessna U206 Super Skywagon ZK-CHQ at Queenstown on 1 April 1988

Hollyfordair's Cessna 172M Skyhawk ZK-DPN at Queenstown on 1 April 1988

On the same day there were a couple of Air Fiordland aircraft operating to and from Milford Sound... Above Cessna 207 ZK-EJD and below Cessna U206G Stationair 6 ZK-KPM   
 

On the 2nd of April 1988 Air Charter (Christchurch)'s Piper Pa23-250 Aztec D ZK-DHB was at Wanaka (above) as was Milford Sound Scenic Flight's Cessna U206F Stationair ZK-DXD.
 

On the drive back to Timaru Mount Cook Airline's Cessna 185A Skywagon ZK-CVF was at Pukaki  while Air Safaris' Cessna T207A Stationair 8 ZK-SEW was at Tekapo.

Later in the month, on the 16th of April 1988 Air Safaris' smallest machine Piper Pa28-140 Cherokee ZK-DED was at Tekapo along with their "heavy" GAF N24A Nomad ZK-NMD

Also taken at Tekapo on the 16th of April 1988 were Cessna T207A Stationair 8s ZK-SEX and ZK-SEY
