This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Tauck Tours on Air Chathams
Flying into Manapouri airport quite frequently at present are Air Chathams' Convair 580s which are flying the air sectors of Tauck Tours' New Zealand tours. This is the closest thing Manapouri/Te Anau gets to a regular air service.
Photographed is Convair ZK-CIF at Manapouri on 9 May 2012. Many thanks to B Ward for both these photos.
