This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. The Last Surviving Jumbos
My thanks to Wayne Grant who captured and sent in a photo of Air New Zealand's last two surviving Boeing 747-400s at Auckland on 16 May 2012. The Jumbos are mainly used on the Auckland-San Francisco route. There is, as yet, no date for the retirement of the type.
